Access to Rural Resources

Access isn’t about creating new systems for the sake of change. It’s about strengthening what already exists and making sure people can actually use the services available to them. That includes housing, recovery support, transportation options, and community-based services that help people meet everyday needs.

County leadership has a role in identifying gaps, coordinating with service providers, and using available funding to improve access where it’s lacking. When access improves, people are better able to work, care for their families, and remain rooted in the community.

My focus is on practical steps that reduce barriers, support local providers, and ensure resources reach the people they’re intended to serve.
